ABOUT DAXTON PAGE & HIS MISSION
Daxton had been fantasizing about being a musician since around age 5. He grew up miming on plastic toy guitars before getting his very first guitar at age 8 on Christmas morning.
He took a few lessons from family to get started but quickly had to learn on his own after his teacher moved away.
Daxton played sports like football, basketball, and baseball growing up before fully committing to becoming a professional musician at age 12.
Dax performed at talent shows at his high school until his first on stage performance at the Whiskey A Go-Go at age 16 as apart of "Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy Camp". From there he formed his first band KIRRA after leaving a local rock school.
KIRRA started making moves very early on in their formation. Dax has stated in interviews that "at one point, we would write a song, polish it up, and by the next rehearsal we'd add a new song, polish the two new ideas, and so on for about 5 weeks straight. This writing frenzy ended in about 6 songs, which would end up making it's way onto KIRRA's first demo tape. KIRRA then paid their dues by hitting the road and investing in getting their name across the country. As Dax saw every corner of the U.S. a few times over, he learned how to manage a bands tour finances, strategies merch sales, and put on rockin' shows in the face of all the variables of the road like broken gear, sound issues, weather, and anything you can imagine. All these experiences formed the foundation of the knowledge Dax teaches to all his students in his educational content for Musicians Ignite.
Unlike many so-called self-help gurus, Dax truly desires to deliver value to people, and his passion and commitment are evident at every level. He is not content to simply offer information to make more money for himself; he is seriously committed to helping others improve their lives. To Dax, impact is more important than income. He helps people realize that financial freedom is 100% possible, and it all starts with your mindset!
Having seen a mountain of good and bad under the hood of the music business, Dax saw that the number of hard knocks lessons bands were expected to learn on their own through trial and error was simply too much for most bands starting out to survive.
That's when Dax had an epiphany and founded Musicians Ignite (formally Musician Mastery) . This company was designed with the core concept of educating musicians on the realities of the music business as well as teaching them the entrepreneurial skills they'll need to not only have a more successful band but a more financially independent life.
Dax coined the term "Money$mart Musicians" as a way to create, as well as be apart of a group of musicians who could create the lives for themselves they want as well as have the means to give back to their fans, local communities, and the world at large.
In fact, there is a program in beta designed to teach the core principles of money, investing, business, & entrepreneurship to musicians entitles the "Money-Smart Musician Program".
Dax distilled the fundamental lessons from titans like Warren Buffet, Peter Lynch, and Ray Dalio and created this program so that musicians could have the edge they'll need in the new music economy.
